Hans Van de Wal

Hans is a partner at Elegis law firm (Antwerp office), a law firm with specialized attorney’s in all areas of law. He is head of the criminal law department. After achieving his law degree at the Antwerp University in 2007, he started practicing as an attorney at the Antwerp Bar in September 2007 and has practiced there ever since. After 10 years of assisting both accused and victims in various criminal cases, he has developed an expertise that is suitable to assist all types of clients in a criminal case from the very starting point of the investigation until the trial itself. Hans has assisted corporations from all sizes and their managers, notaries, accountants and specialized in business and financial criminal law in general, money laundering in particular. The client’s best interest is his first focus, always searching for a practical long term solution. Being a member of the ECBA, he assists clients in international cases frequently. Hans is accredited at the Antwerp Bar and obtained his certificate to assist clients before the Supreme Court in criminal cases.

He is fluent in Dutch, English and French, speaks Italian and reads German.
