Miguel Ontiveros Alonso

Miguel Ontiveros Alonso has founded two law offices focused both in personal and corporate criminal defense and specialized training of participants in the criminal justice system. On one hand, sensitive legal advice is provided to several firms in Mexico and LATAM through Ontiveros Consulting, while Criminal Compliance Mexico, designs and implements criminal compliance programs for private companies.

Miguel has published a criminal law manual financed by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation of which he was a scholar in Bonn, a criminal procedure manual and several articles related to compliance and legal doctrine. He wrote his doctoral thesis in Munich and was awarded his degree in The University of Salamanca. His doctoral thesis was published by the National Institute of Criminal Sciences of Mexico.

Miguel is fluent in Spanish, English and German.
